One can observe the strong "Dali - istic" surrealistic influence.
To have role models is O.K. as long as one is prepared to tear oneself away and try to find one's own path.
My favorite canvas size at this time was 70 x 50 cm and I produced over 100 pictures in this style.
I also produced many large size pictures ( 160 x 120cm )
and the "Chessboard -pattern" accompanied me for many years.

This was my most experimental period. The first hint of abstract period with a heavy frame .... (Harmonie ?)
Much more importantly was the discovery of the theory of colour and the control of ' Mixed Media Technique '.

I produced these paintings in Australia. They contain every thing which I have learned in the past, - the creation of priming the canvas by means of fire ( see ... Picture in Flame ) with a surreal touch and to highlight the most fundamental aspects.
